Cylinder Sazi Company started its mission at 2001 by signing a trilateral agreement with Kala Naft and Smith International Italia Spa and also a bilateral agreement with Smith International Italia Spa. A year later, Cylinder Sazi, produced and delivered its first batch of drilling bits to the costumer.

From 2007 Cylindersazi management decided to manufacture All the milling tools such us: Junk Mill, Economill,Taper Mill,Pilot Mill,Cement Mill.

Most of the orders are placed by Kala Naft and the main customers are: National Iranian South Oil Company, National Iranian Central Oil Fields Company, Exploration Directorate and National Iranian Drilling Company.

Top managers of the Cylinder Sazi in production and quality control have been trained in Smith Italia. Also, engineers and technicians have been sent from Smith Italia to Iran to deliver the required knowledge and training to the production and quality control personnel. These training are according to the API-7, API Quality 1 and AWS standards.

Cylinder Sazi has been able to receive ISO 9001:2000 certificate from DNV Netherlands at 2001 and it has been renewed every six months ever since .

Annual production capacity of Cylinder Sazi is around 2500 PDC and Roller Cone bits and 1500 Mills of different sizes from 4 1/8” to 26” in an 8 hour working shift. Referring to production statistics, it appears that more than 200 bits have been produced in some months.

By March 2008, nearly 5300 drilling bits in different types and sizes have been delivered to various bureaus of National Iranian Oil Company.

Cylinder Sazi’s machinery comprise of CNC machines in different sizes, CNC machine, Heavy Duty TIG and MIG welding machines, Arc-submerge welding machine, Lathe machines, driller machines, Saw, etc.

In order to diversify its products and regarding the potential abilities of its engineers, technicians and machinery, Cylinder Sazi has decided to produce Down Hole Tools. These tools consist of, Junk Mills, Junk Masters, Stabilizers, Hole Openers, Wedgetail Reamers, Crossover Subs, Economills and Taper Mills. To produce these tools, there is a cooperation treaty between Cylinder Sazi and Stable Services Ltd. Headquartered in Aberdeen, Scotland.

To produce the rest of the Down Hole Tools, Cylinder Sazi has signed a cooperation agreement with Diversified Drilling & Industrial Equipment F.Z.E. . Also, some negotiations have been started with Oil Tools International Argentina S. R. L. and we hope to end with an agreement in near future.

The production line of Cylinder Sazi is located at 70th kilometer of Tehran-Ghazvin Highway, Hashtgerd Industrial Zone, 1st phase, 4th street.
